he says taht if he tries to unlock the doors, with the keys it will go off. only time it wont if to use the keyless remote. it also has PATS dunno if thatll do things either.

how would I get into the car and disable to the alarm so it wont go off with a regular key

It should have a RAP (remote antitheft personality) module... you can try unplugging it, but i dunno if it will let the keys work anymore... it should... the perimeter alarm is separate from the PATS system, so no worries there, and i'm fairly sure the RKE (remote keyless entry) is a separate system, but i might be wrong on that one. Worst case is you unplug the module, the alarm no longer goes off, but the keyfobs don't work either. I wonder tho... why does he wanna be able to use the keys without the remotes? That kinda defeats the purpose of having the anti-theft system on the car.

You can pick up remotes pretty cheap... they don't often go bad unless you break them.. usually the battery dies, but that's about it, and you can just throw a new battery in.

you can disable it....it requires adding a jumper to the rap. you would have to pull a diagram to figure it out. All kars with keyless have an alarm...the question is, is it active. If you have no alarm, but have keyless, all you have to do it cut a jumper under the dash. If you want to disable the factory alarm, but stil keep keyless, like i did, all you have to do is add a jumper between two pins.

RAP is what i mentioned in my earlier post.. stands for Remote Antitheft Personality module.. it's the ford name for the security module on the car. Jumper is a term to describe a wire you install between to other wires, terminals, etc to make a connection between them.. hence jumping a wire from one spot to another (booster cables are sometimes referred to as jumper cables since they "jump" from one battery to another).
