Are White Signals Legal? - Taurus Car Club of America : Ford Taurus Forum

I bought some new front turn signal bulbs to complete the look of my clear corners and xenon headlights. However, the bulbs I got are extremely blue. They are the equivalent of police car blue; they look amazing but are glaringly illegal. <_< While it will kill me to take these off, I really need to choose a replacement. I was considering the silverstar bulbs that are blue but light up amber. Although I would really like to get rid of the amber coloring altogether. Does anyone know if white front turn signals are legal in PA? I know they're legal in California, but I'm not sure about PA. If white is illegal do you think cops would actually pull me over for it?

Ya, im pretty sure that is illegal. But I have seen ppl with them, but I dont know many ppl that get hassled over it.

by law turn signal have to be yellow and back up light white lol

I had white leds in the Sable and never got stopped and a lot of officers saw me even driving at night and never got pulled over.

They are probably legal, they are in Illinois. Most states say any color in the front from white to amber for any light.

When I was living in Philly for college, I had clear corners and "Xenon" turn signal bulbs. They had a chrome outer appearance, and lit up a brilliant silver color (white, really). I never got hassled out there. I still have them, living in South Jersey, and no problems here either. I went through inspection a couple of weeks ago and forgot to swap them out for some amber bulbs, but I passed, so I guess they're legal!

I think those will also be too blue for you. During the day, they should be visible enough.

Turn signals on the front of vehicles must be amber, on the back they can be red or amber.
