davekcon has a little shameless behaviour in the past

Has anyone had any experience in fixing the gap that developes between the plastic (easily removable) dash piece, and the much larger foam rubber piece that spans the width of the windshield. It looks like the adhesive has come apart and the rubber foam piece has moved. The gap is getting larger and is above the instrument cluster. Has anyone had experience with this before?

The car is a 97 taurus gl

any advice is greatly appreciared
