Ssarcastic.... but it looks ok. I'd say the beginning is a how to, this ending not so much.
Right now the angel eyes are drying, being supported by the gold and silver adjusters of the headlights. I rubbed a small protion of chrome in the back off, but since these are Black Fury's, not Night Fury's, its alright, I dont mind *if it WAS, I'd be freaking out! I'll have professional help then* Photos up latter tommorow, and more HOW TO. |

Alright, so you got your reflector all ready, now get ready for annoyance and terror
Basically you think its as easy as add some superglue or silicone to the back of it and on the thin mount, hold for a good 10 minutes and let go slowly. Well, that does NOT work. It will fall into the housing. You need a way to hold the other part up until it hardens. I used the adjuster from the headlight overnight. ![]() About 2am I added some more superglue on it. A bit gobby, but as I said, this is for the Commuter so no need for PERFECTION. Reinstall is opposite of install, test lights 1st though. Installed on Friends Taurus (SE)...in the rain... ![]() ![]() (Pardon high pitch thing at fast strobe. I dont think that was me O.o, but she says it wasn't her...) As I said, without HID's it may be kinda ricey, but eh, for Night Fury it is part of the design, and for Black Fury, it doesn't need much anyways. If you still do this, be very careful of the chrome, use windex at most, nothing more abrasive, and use microfiber! And have a good time! ![]() (One of the main differences between Night Fury's and Black Fury(2)'s Angel Eyes. Night Fury will have these 100mm and 60mm's, as you saw for a while, Black Fury on the other hand, will have these undiffused 80mms. ![]() Its nearing time of install...

Yup, their color galore! I'll be running Red, White and Fade mostly. |

I'm hoping by the end of next week I should have a sexy photo ready for the forum.
Reason for red is 1. Its badass. Evil. Eyelids alone on shos make them look freakin AGGRESSIVE! Add some red eyes... and its a beast. 2. Project: Night Fury uses color Blue and Green, so the other color, Red seems alright, somewhat fitting. It just depends on the weather, its starting to snow, getting this stuff on, and I plan on taking a COVER/Showcase photo in the very place that I lost the Original Black Fury. Next test: To see how hot the halogens go and if the LED's burn because of it (Hope not) And to decide if the other should get HIDs or not... Last edited by QuinnSHO; 11-11-2012 at 01:03 AM. |
