Someone else with a gold gen 4... I am not alone like I thought

I was driving home when a 3500 Ram [Work truck] merged into my lane, he knocked out my back tire causing me to roll over him in a T-bone effect, which then I lost all control, went over the grass median strip, through oncoming traffic, and into a guard rail. Talk about a nightmare!

This is her in the daylight the morning after, you can see where the initial hit was. He had spiked lugnuts that started that hole in the rear bumper, then proceeded to take out my tire. Tore up my awesome SHO rim.

This is the front end where it hit the guard rail.

Makes my stomach chrun when I see these.

And this is her as of now:

No front end on her yet, I'm swapping a new engine into her really soon. I have all the new bumpers and fenders etc. I just have to get a bodyshop to do the rear quarter, otherwise I'll cut and weld it myself. The engine swap is consuming most of the time because I rebuilt it, and I have to swap computers, fuel systems, etc.

I'm lucky I got away with very little structural damage. The only thing I found wrong was the upper horn on the left side was deformed upwards, which I've got it straightened out now. B pillar is in perfect shape, the new doors fit just like the old ones.

Wow man that sucks!

So the engine was totaled in the crash? Did the other driver just drive away, or did he stop?

I'm really happy you are okay! That is a really scary accident, it could have been A LOT worse!

My car may not be pretty on the outside. But it sure is full of gold on the inside.

The engine actually is okay. The damage it suffered was only broken engine mounts, from the forward inertia of the wall impact.

I was working on a engine swap for quite some time prior to the accident, but now I'm taking advantage of the situation to finish it.
