it a 9 hrs drive man i would doubt the engine would last that long

unless you send it by train but even there arggggg im so lost on this subjet im almost sure the damn engine head gasket on mine are toasted or the head is cracked

Mitchell's labor guide gives 12.9 hours to replace a 3.8 engine in a '94 Taurus GL

They also state this.... Includes: Transfer fuel and electrical assemblies and engine mounts. Adjust fuel mixture (witch don't applies in that case), idle speed and timing. DOES NOT include: transfer of manifolds, valve covers, oil pan, timing cover and water pump.

Those flat rates are established assuming you have access to the proper equipment, and they are not established considering that your car had about 15 years to corrode since it was manufactured.

You should consider you ARE going to need some parts to do the job, witch can be pretty hard to find on weekends. There are gonna be some surprises too as the job will progress.

well first off this engine is 1 year old and ive got a new friend a t my mecanic school they decided to do open heart surgery on my beast so the head are gonna be redone and the base is going to be retested to be sure up to spec

so for now ill be doing a complete repair courtesy of my school

now i just have to donate some time to help out some other student when they have exam of some other shit so i guess it and ok deal

oh and if i was gonna do the engine swap i would have come prepared
