Hey!

I'm Corey from Georgia. I am an impending college student and a developing automobile enthusiast!

She's a silver second-generation (according to the Haynes repair manual), 2001 model year, sporting a 3.0 V6 OHV pushrod motor with sequential multi-point port fuel injection, two valves per cylinder, a one-year exclusive "partial" return fuel system, with a pressure bypass, routing extra fuel back into the tank through the fuel filter, the AXOD (AX4S) automatic overdrive transaxle, a cassette player, and DIY-rigged footwell lighting.

She suffers spark knock, especially in the spring/summer heat, around 3k RPM, the transaxle bangs into reverse and out of drive, and sometimes it can't decide where it's shifting, but that's alright; she's my "tricky Taurus".

Welcome to TCCA! We all like pictures here so, snap a picture or two and post them here in the "Bull Stable"
Post a Picture of your Bull!

If you haven't done so already, please edit your user information, in your user control panel(top right of the forum "User CP") to show what kind of car and what engine you have. If you have a 3.0L specify which one, the 12v OHV Vulcan, the 24v DOHC Duratec, or the 24v Yamaha DOHC(Gen1-2 SHO only)! That helps other members with any questions you might have about your specific car.

The search feature will be your friend around here as most topics/issues/modifications have been covered at some point and information builds daily, most times with the resolution to the issue.
