Welcome, as far as performance, the taurus, especially the fourth generation, isn't really a performance car, but it does have above average acceleration for a family sedan. Rims and tint is always a good choice

Welcome to the club!!!

Yes, as far as options and aesthetics, there is a lot you can do. Performance wise, yes it is limited. But have fun!

Check out my build thread for ideas!

Save your money for repairs. Seriously. Don't blow it on BS accessories. Any 10+ year old Taurus needs some work.

Just note that, since you have a 2003, you can't swap your grille out for the chromed ones on eBay. Different shape-it's not just the spear that's missing.

Haven't seen one for the G4's yet (does anyone have a link to one?)

thanks guysa so far today that i have veiwed from threads to photos i have gotten some info on what i could possibly do to my 03. some things are dtill up in the air but others i am going to do. this is the first time i've ever owned a taurus. i've had an 89 camaro rs t-top and a 95 t-bird performance wise cars. so this is a different direction for me with a sedan. didn't think there was much performance wise i could do to the car and seems i'm right on that but other things theres a lot more that you can do than i thought
