but I really, really like the new Chevys. I've never been a real big GM fan, as they've made junk for so long (junk I have to deal with on a daily basis
) but man, the new ones are nice. Spark ![]() Sonic ![]() ![]() Cruze ![]() Malibu ![]() If they smarten up and start offering diesel variants (or if the epa loosens up a bit), a diesel Sonic hatch or even Cruze would be darn near the top of my list. They've come a long way from this: ![]()

They have come a long way, that's for sure. I still can't buy a GM product after my last car. Not that it was breaking down, but it was just cheap, cheap materials, poorly constructed, etc.

My dads trailblazer gets 12 mpg combined... The only bad thing about it if you ask me. But my moms Kia is a whole other story

![]() Not that the above-mentioned Malibu was any better. Not many Chevy commercials start with a technician complaining about the GM vehicles he has to work on. Though for as much crap as I give them, I have owned five GM vehicles. The two Taurii have been my only non-GMs. |

02 Pontiac Sunfire. Supposedly compared to a Cavalier it's like Sable is to Taurus. Still junk. Noisy, uncomfortable, underpowered, underequipped, terrible styling. Never left me stranded though, and didn't get half bad mileage.

![]() I like how they couldn't afford to mark the gears next to the shifter. I liked the S10 based Blazer/Jimmy that preceded it quite a bit more. |

Did yours have the engine with the completely unreachable oil filter? 2.2L I think. I really hope whoever put it where they did suffered a slow, painful death.
