So I thought I'd show off my new car...

Well the title speaks the truth. Earlier this year (around February) I had traded in my Taurus for a lower mileage '07 Chevrolet Impala. The Taurus was going well but with the rear end sag, oil and transmission leaks, and the rear dog leg rot, it was time for something else. While it appeared to be a good car for a couple of months, I soon found out that the transmission horribly slipped. I wasn't too happy .

I found out who the previous owners were (lived right across from my friend) and then realized why the transmission was slipping (they beat on every vehicle something terrible).

Any rate, I did a transmission fluid change, added some Lucas tranny fix, and got rid of it.

In May of this year, I decided I wanted something that I really liked the looks of, was fun to drive, good on gas, and I know would be reliable. So... I shopped around and around. I thought the Malibu was a pile (not trying to offend), didn't like the 2004 interior of the Camry, and am not big into Kia or Hyundai. I picked up this very low mileage 2009 Honda Accord LX Sedan with a 5-speed in Alabaster Silver Metallic.

I really like this car. It's good on fuel, has a lot of power, handles very well, and is very fun to drive. Here's some pictures.

Sharp car! I've always been a silver fan, and with a 4 knocker, i would always go 5-speed, like you said, plenty of power!

I've had 2 Accords, don't be surprised if they need as much or more maintenance as a Ford.

Nice car. If the engine has a timing belt, make sure you change it when the manual tells you. Or else you'll have a Honda with bent valves.

I wonder why that Impala had the transmission go so soon.

I love cake. I AM THE CAKE BOSS!

Good luck with it. I had a 5 Speed Accord from 1992-2002-until I wanted all wheel drive. It was good to me, and I enjoyed driving it
